Director of 50% Challenge Campaign

In partnership with Ed Trust and the American Enterprise Institute, we launched a challenge to reduce chronic absence by 50% in five years. The Director of the 50% Challenge Campaign will collaborate closely with the Attendance Works team to devise and execute a strategy to advance the campaign. We seek a highly skilled, experienced professional with proven ability to develop a big picture strategy and ensure strong implementation.

Responsibilities include engaging a cohort of states in different regions and across partisan lines in publicly committing to this goal and taking action to achieve this goal within their states. The Director of the 50% Challenge Campaign will also collaborate with others to develop and update tools and resources to help states and districts achieve a 50% reduction in chronic absence. This exempt, benefitted position is full time with a salary range from $135,000 to $160,000 annually depending on experience. Attendance Works offers a robust benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, paid vacation and sick leave, and more. The position is remote with occasional travel for staff retreats and key events.
